Introducing Managed-AIS (Formerly Mekon-AIS)

Managed-AIS is an Aeronautical Software and Services company, we provide the world leading Aeronautical Publishing System (APS) for structured and unstructured AIP document management via our FrameAPS and APSXML products. Working closely with EUROCONTROL as a subsystem in the EAD (European AIS Database) project we have created the worlds first fully integrated eAIP solution to use with the central EAD static data management system (SDO). Our intention in going forward is to develop systems that enable States to collect, store, manage and deliver their data in any required format with 100% confidence in its safety, quality and integrity.

Mekon-AIS was originally formed by the merger of Aerochart - Aeronautical Data Services Ltd into Mekon Ltd. The two companies provided an effective unit combining high levels of AIS experience with a development team already providing AIP solutions to the EAD and other clients worldwide.

Moving forward, it was decided last year to split Mekon-AIS back out of the main Mekon company and a management buyout lead by Andrew Barrett has taken the company forward through 2006 to it’s most successful year in terms of sales and products delivered.

Now after one full year of trading it has been decided to relaunch the company with a new name and fresh new look. The new company will trade as Managed AIS or M-AIS for short, the web presence and contact details for the new name will be announced and published at Maastricht 2007 ATC show where the company will be showing at stand 560 with long term trade partner Nedgraphics.
